Hi, I’m Carley and my hope is to help you do just that.

The way I got this figured, half of my life is behind me and I am on the last half of my journey here. I’ve done a lot, learned a lot, been throught a lot.

Some of it should have broken me—-
But it made me stronger.
A lot of it should have kept me angry and bitter—
But I learned forgiveness.
Much of it about had me to give up—
But I didn’t.
Some things should have even taken my life!
But I’m still here!

There is a lot of hurt and sadness in our world, more so today and growing. I have so many moments myself of hurt or worry, sadness and stress. It’s a battle I fight everyday.

But not by myself.

I lean on, rely in and put my trust in God. He alone helps me thru it.

Live Life, Smile Thru It, Share The Faith is about what I’ve learned and how to simply apply it to our lives.

Summed up, it’s a state of mind.

I have shared what Carleysense is all about. So now I would like to share who she is and how she came into existence.

In 2008, Carla Schuchman was working on a faux finish job with a friend and fellow artist. Her friend, who was going through a rough patch, was down in the dumps and feeling generally cruddy. After a pep talk from Carla, which always involves God’s greatness and goodness in a simple, practical and uplifted way, she was walking away from her friend and as she looked backed… she kicked her heel up and said, “Lets just smile thru it, I’m with ya!”

And that was the beginning of Carley.

Carley and Carla have much in common. They totally believe in God for everything, thru everything and because of everything. They don’t have to understand it all; they both have chosen to just believe. They both know that in any circumstance, God is good all the time and whatever comes along, good or bad, God can take it and make it great!

Carley is the product of many years of Carla’s real-life experiences and the continued growth and simple application of God’s Word in everyday life. This is where Carleysense was created! In the dictionary, one definition of sense is:

Sense (n) sound practical intelligence

Very soon Carley and the message of Live Life, Smile Thru It and Share The Faith we be introduced to retailers in hopes to spread this message everywhere and direct people to The One who is The Message.

Carley’s crew is staying close to The Reason for her existence and keeping all things in perspective. We are on a journey, and we aim to not only run the race, but to also enjoy the journey.
